# Rainfrog Plans and Credits: Complete Pricing Guide

> Compare Rainfrog's Hobby, Pro, and Ultra subscription plans, understand how credits work, and learn about billing cycles and cancellation.

Rainfrog runs on a credit-based subscription. Every image or video you generate costs credits, and your plan determines how many credits you receive each month. Choose the plan that fits your volume, and switch or cancel anytime from **Manage Plan**.

## Understanding credits

Credits power generation. Each still or video draw from your balance. Exact cost depends on the node, model, and settings you choose — **the cost is shown on the generator before you run**.

Broadly:

* Faster / standard image models cost fewer credits
* Higher-fidelity image models and higher resolutions cost more
* Video costs more than a typical still

Your monthly credits renew with your subscription. Unused subscription credits **roll over**. One-time top-ups from **Manage Plan** stay available until you use them.

## Free account vs paid generation

You can create a free account and explore projects, libraries, and workflows. **Generating images or video, and downloading outputs, requires an active paid plan** with credits. Rainfrog does not offer a separate free generation trial — billing starts when you subscribe, and credits are available right away.

* **Monthly** — pay month to month
* **Annual** — pay yearly and save **20%**; credits are still added monthly

    Yes. Unused subscription credits roll over when your plan renews. One-time top-up credits stay until you use them.

    There is no free generation trial. A free account can explore the studio; paid plans unlock generation and downloads. Cancel anytime from **Manage Plan** if a plan is not right for you.

  <Accordion title="How do I cancel?">
    Open **Manage Plan** and select **Cancel subscription**. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Rainfrog does not issue prorated refunds for unused time.

    Yes. Upgrade or change plans from **Manage Plan** / pricing. After a successful upgrade, the new credit allotment and limits apply for the plan you selected. Downgrades follow your billing change and may reduce limits without deleting existing items.

    Open the Image Generator model picker. Use a faster model while exploring, then switch to a higher-fidelity model for final frames. Credit cost updates on the node as you change settings.
